THE BIMMER STORE... "CERTIFIED" PROCESS
“CERTIFIED” is a term that is used to describe a host of marketing programs, from car dealers to appliance reseller's, the term is often misused. THE BIMMER STORE believes that a CERTIFIED pre-owned vehicle should be something of true value that is easily differentiated from other vehicles. With that in mind, we have continually updated our certified program since it’s debut in 1995. Today we are proud to offer our customers what we consider the best-CERTIFIED program available, period.
1. We start with the selection process. Unlike most dealers, we are not pushed into solely buying the vehicles that are turned in at our dealership from previous lessees. Instead, we travel the nation to purchase the finest and most sought after vehicles to meet the needs of our customers, not the Lease Company or manufacturer. We often peruse over 500 vehicles to purchase only 8-10. Our vehicles must have the ideal quality and value mix to meet our needs and ultimately our customer’s desires.

2. Next, we inspect all of our vehicles at least three times. First, before one of our owners (not a manager that bought and sold Ford’s last week) inspects each vehicle before we purchase a BMW, second our technicians inspect each vehicle with state of the art diagnostic computers utilizing either our SELECT inspection checklist or our CERTIFIED inspection checklist. Third, we use CarFax® and manufacturer specific history tools to inspect the vehicles past to make a diligent effort to make sure the vehicle has no previous title problems such as salvage, flood history, major accident history or other unknown issues. Missing just one step in our process could lead one to buy the wrong car. All and all, our thorough inspection process gives us confidence that our customers receive the highest quality and best-valued vehicle available.
3. Full reconditioning process on each car. After inspecting our vehicles and determining that they are worthy of our CERTIFIED or SELECT stamp of approval, each vehicle undergoes the finest reconditioning procedures available. Instead of describing our process, simply peruse our vehicles; you will immediately see the difference. We don’t sell ordinary used vehicles…
4. Long-term warranties and extended service contract(s). We then offer our prospective customers the finest extended warranty and roadside assistance product(s) for a term of up to 7 years (from the day the car is purchased) or 125,000 total miles! Our extended service and warranty product is the most comprehensive warranty we’ve seen. We are not forced to sell you a specific product from a specific manufacturers program, instead we can sell you the BEST warranty product that will serve you and your car for years longer than most of our competitors less intensive Certified warranties. In addition, you are not forced into using our certified warranty only at franchised dealers that may or may not be convenient or offer you the service you desire. You can use the service provider of your choice. In fact, if the service facility doesn’t honor our warranty, the warranty provider will pay the service facility via credit card - it’s that easy! To make getting your vehicle to the repair facility simple, all certified warranties include Roadside assistance for the term of the warranty. Compare and you will find most dealers “certified” programs generally add only a short basic warranty (2 years or less). In addition if you read the fine print of other “Certified” programs you will see many, many warranty loopholes - it pays to investigate!!!
5. POST-PURCHASE SATISFACTION. Post purchase we offer our valued previous customer FREE use of a loaner vehicle to make it easy to get your car in and out of service without stranding our customers without a car. Our state of the art service facility is staffed with factory trained master technicians, the latest BMW diagnostic tools and a dedicated team of BMW enthusiasts.
Finally, we wrap up our CERTIFIED program by offering you an honest and straightforward sales process. Our knowledgeable sales people will be happy to educate you on the entire process and offer you things like pinstripes, little details that matter to you or other small touches free.
